TIXU’S ART or The Art of Tixu, more than the traditional techniques and vivid colors that are particular to a whole tradition of Mexican painters. His painting is more likely the thinking and feeling of a Mexican Man, of a human being and his artistic journey.
His strongest inspiration is life itself, his emotions, his deepest thoughts, life and death, told from his own vision.
Tixu has an enormous taste and passion for the beauty of simple things, which we see every day and which rarely in our daily life, we do not take time to appreciate.
Through the inside of each person, that is where his inspiration for his art lies.
Starting with his own universe.
After a medical diagnosis where he was detected, panic attacks and anxiety. It was this physical condition, from which he derived as a therapy, to rediscover his passion for drawing.
Taking Tavo Tixu to rediscover his childhood, where there had always been surrounded by art and that for a period of 10 years, he study in the art school in Oaxaca ‘Bellas Artes’.

The First Serie Collection
In one night, after suffering from a strong anxiety disorder, he fell into a deep dream, and during that dream a woman appeared, a woman dressed in black, with a kind of fitted leotard that reflected her figure and that in turn carried a black umbrella like a cane, it was death that called him.
I have to take you, she said.
He didn’t have time to say goodbye, but at the end, Tixu only felt peace, and enormous love, for him, for his wife and daughters, and for this new woman that he just met.
After this dream, he woke up with a feeling of deep love, grateful to be alive.
He took his notebook, which thanks to his psychologist, is the one he uses all the time to write down thoughts, ideas, and so many other things, and he began drawing to the woman of his dream and write down the story.
That some time later, he named as TALULA.
